Helping make the GI Bill more applicable to the 21st Century is just one of several things U.S. Sen. Blanche Lincoln. D-Ark., said she would like to continue doing to aid military veterans.

During a visit Wednesday to Texarkana, Ark., she assured veterans she is working on their behalf in Washington, D.C., given the continuing conflict in the Middle East and elsewhere.
