OMAHA, Texas—Texarkana, Texas, city officials receive some help Thursday from the Ark-Tex Council of Governments toward extending Morris Lane.

The ATCOG Board of Director’s Executive Committee approved an application the city submitted earlier this month for an Economic Development Administration grant for $1.5 million. The money will be used to help finance the $4.1 million project extending Morris Lane from Summerhill Road to Richmond Road.
