A Texarkana, Texas, City Council member and six other plaintiffs have agreed to dismiss a lawsuit against the state alleging election laws governing absentee ballots are unconstitutional.

The suit stemmed from accusations of criminal misconduct against Willie Ray and her granddaughter, Jamillah Johnson, in connection with absentee voting.
