Racers, fans gear up for Saturday’s Bulldog 100

Taylor Ryan may have what it takes to win this year’s Bulldog 100 mini-NASCAR race because of her last place finish in last year’s race.

Ryan, 20, who will be driving for the Texarkana College Chemistry Club, participated in the parade of mini-NASCARs Thursday morning from Central Mall to the Pinkerton Center on the campus of Texarkana College.

“The Chemistry Club asked me to drive in the race again,” said Ryan, who wants to become a registered nurse and eventually a nurse practitioner.
