Songwriter and recording artist Christy Sutherland will make two concert appearances in the area beginning at 7 p.m. today at Oaklawn Baptist Church, 2918 New Boston Road.

Her second concert will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church Midway, 1415 Farm to Market Road 2148, between U.S. highways 67 and 82.
