An Ashdown sanitation department employee was arrested Tuesday in connection with the May 26 shooting death of Robin Camp, a Nashville, Ark., store clerk, officials said.

Harry Eugene Surber, 37, of Ashdown was arrested on a charge of murder about 8:30 a.m. on East Lawrence Street in Ashdown while collecting trash, said Ninth Judicial District Prosecutor Tom Cooper.

“The particular murder charge has not been determined. However, I anticipate we will make that decision before Mr. Surber’s arraignment June 18,” said Cooper.
