Caddo Area Council Boy Scout’s Learning for Life program is expanding soon, thanks to a recent $90,000 grant.

The grant, from the Texas Pioneer Foundation in San Marcos, Texas, will provide $30,000 annually for 2008, 2009 and 2010.

“We’re looking at hopefully adding four or five schools that will start with the program ... adding about 2,000 young people through the grant,” said Marcal Young, Caddo Area Council executive director.

The schools are in Bowie and Cass counties.
