Middle innings key for Indians

MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark.—The Red River Credit Union Texarkana American Legion Indians scored three runs in both the fourth and fifth innings to defeat Rogers, 6-3, Wednesday in the Twin Lake Classic.

Randall Fant notched the win to earn his second victory of the season. Hunter Allday and Kaleb Brown each had a hit and a RBI, and John Stilson and Cody Mayo drove in two runs on a pair of hits apiece.

Texarkana (7-2) returns to action at 6:30 p.m. today against Columbia, Mo.
