The Gospel Music Workshop of America, Texarkana Chapter, is offering a summer workshop for area ministers of music and choirs, beginning at 7 p.m. today at Mount Grove Baptist Church, 2801 Arkansas Blvd.

The three-day event is scheduled for 7 p.m. today and Friday followed by a workshop concert at 6 p.m. Saturday.

Today’s and Friday’s sessions will cover multiple areas of gospel music ministry and a choir rehearsal is scheduled for each night.
