The Mississippi River Trust and Natural Resources Conservation Services will host a Waterfowl Management Field Day at 9 a.m. today at Queen’s Plantation near Texarkana Ark.

“This field day with an on-farm demonstration is designed to assist landowners, hunters and anyone interested in making their land more attractive to waterfowl or wildlife in general,” said Steven Stake, a biologist with Mississippi River Trust and a speaker at the event.

Speakers will give presentations, followed by lunch and a field trip, on the properties of the Queen’s Plantation.
