A grant has been awarded to the Southwest Arkansas Development Council to help victims of the recent severe storms.

The State of Arkansas awarded the grant to SWADC for residents who need to make purchases for their daily needs.

“These funds may be used for health-related services, food, clothing, medication, personal care items and temporary shelter,” said Julie Lacefield, director of case management services for SWADC. “Residents with storm damage should act quickly since funds are limited.”
