Betty Lewis and the Executives perform at the street dance to kick off the Juneteenth celebration Thursday evening on Broad Street. Festivities for the celebration continue today with the Hero’s Banquet at 7 p.m. at the Southwest Center. The featured banquet speaker is Terence L. Bolden, community activist and advocate from Little Rock who founded Rocking Youth Into Reality Inc., a youth organization focused on literacy through the arts. Tickets are $25.
