Little River Nursing & Rehab in Ashdown, Ark., received a Quality Innovator Award for excellence in health care during a recent state conference.

The award was presented by the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care during a quality conference in Hot Springs.

The award is presented to nursing homes serving as mentors to other facilities in implementing improvements in health care.

Little River Nursing & Rehab was among 60 in the state receiving the award.
