A man shot by police after allegedly using his SUV to ram a house and several cars in rural Bowie County pleaded not guilty to the charges Thursday.

Robert Ray “Bobby” Hester, 31, faces three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of criminal mischief with damage between $20,000 and $100,000.

“Am I correct? Is this the one with the vehicle that was used to destroy a house?” Bowie County District Judge John Miller asked Assistant District Attorney James Elliott.
