Maud High School recently announced its top two graduates for 2008.

Haley Bode, valedictorian, is the daughter of Tammie Bode. She received several scholarships totaling $12,000 as well as a scholarship equivalent to the exception of tuition to any public college or university in Texas for the first two regular semesters following graduation. She plans to attend Texarkana College.

Matthew Green, salutatorian, is the son of Ronald and Tommie Green. He received several scholarships totaling $9,600. He plans to attend Texarkana College.
