Testimony began Tuesday in a civil lawsuit alleging the Texarkana, Ark., School District is liable for damages in a sexual assault that occurred in the Arkansas High School boy’s locker room in 2003.

The assault involved two mentally disabled male students who were in a physical education class together. Their names are being withheld to protect the identity of the victim and because both students were juveniles when the assault occurred.
