The Texarkana, Texas, Independent School District Board of Trustees will meet in special session at 6 p.m. Monday at the District Services Building at 1600 Waterall St. After a closed session, the board members will be open to public comment during a public hearing on the budget and tax notice.

The board will also consider a final amendment to the 2007-2008 school year budget and consider adopting the operating for the up coming school year. The proposed tax rate will also be discussed.
