When Arkansas State Police Sgt. David Daniel played cops and robbers as a seven-year-old, he was the cop chasing neighborhood kids on his bicycle with a chain activated siren.

He was doing his duty enforcing the neighborhood law in Ashdown, Ark.

“All my life I wanted to be a trooper. When I was just a kid and we played cops and robbers, I was always the cop chasing other kids around,” said Daniel.

The trio he usually chased in Ashdown were brothers Stanley and Terry Snead and Ronald Joe Wilson.
