Texarkana is hometown to one of the brightest pharmacy students in the country.

Clint Ross, a graduate of Arkansas High School, recently won the National Patient Counseling competition by the American Pharmacists Association at the APA National Meeting in San Diego.

A student at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy, Ross is the first UAMS student to win the competition.
