Howard County, Ark., Deputy Prosecutor Bryan Chesshir of Nashville recently announced his candidacy for the Ninth Judicial District West prosecutor.

Chesshir has served 11 years as deputy prosecutor for Howard County and two years as deputy prosecutor for Pike County.

He has been practicing law in Southwest Arkansas for 17 years.

Chesshir has also served as city attorney for Mineral Springs, Murfreesboro and Tollette.
