Because of a reporting error, an article in Monday’s edition was incorrect. It incorrectly stated the judge of the Best Paper in History contest was Carl Lynn. It was not. The judge was Carr Winn, a former history professor at Texas A&M University-Texarkana. The Gazette regrets the error.
