The pets of the week are a large white Pyrenees female dog in HP-14 and a tabby, gray male cat in C-29.

The Texarkana Animal Shelter has 67 dogs, nine puppies, 32 cats and 37 kittens for adoption, said a shelter official. There were 32 adoptions in the past week.

The fee to adopt dogs is $40. Cats can be adopted $20 each. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday at the shelter, 203 Harrison St. All animals have been wormed and received their seven-in-one shots. For more information, call the shelter at 870-773-6388.
