A diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease is enough to shake a family to its core, but knowledge of the disease can help a family cope with the life-changing diagnosis.

The Alzheimer’s Alliance Texarkana Area is beginning a new training program for people in the early stages of Alzheimer’s, their caregivers and families. The three-month program begins in August and will meet twice a month.
