Traffic came to a screeching halt about 1 p.m. Monday after a four-vehicle accident past the westbound on-ramp to Interstate 30 from State Line Avenue, police said.

No one was injured in the accident, but westbound traffic was stopped on I-30 until about 2:30 p.m., said Texarkana, Texas, Officer Alex Serrano, who investigated the accident.

“The road was completely blocked off,” said Serrano.
