Three people are seeking to fill former Texarkana Independent school board member Jerry Chapman’s unexpired term. Chapman tendered his resignation on June 17.

Superintendent James Henry Russell said his office received letters of interest from Amy Bowers, E-Z Mart Stores’ director of human resources and risk management; Donna Chatman, CableOne’s director of sales and marketing; and Lacy McMillen, city president and manager of Private Client Group for Capital One.

The deadline for letters of interest was Friday.
