The City of Lockesburg, Ark., will celebrate the “29th Annual Fireworks in the Park” Friday starting with a 2-K walk at 6:45 a.m. and ending with a fireworks display about 9:30 p.m.

The Independence Day festivities will be in the Ida Margaret Coulter Stone Park in Lockesburg on the west side U.S. Hghway 71.

The Friday schedule includes:

• 6:45 a.m. registration for a 2-K walk

• 7 a.m. 2-K walk

• 7:30 a.m. Lions Club pancake breakfast

• 8 a.m. Car, tractor and motorcycle show

• 10 a.m. A 3 on 3 basketball tourna...
