ATLANTA, Texas—Brooke Ward said she never expected to develop strong feelings for someone she met on a reality TV show.

And about a year ago, she probably never expected to be moving to Missouri to see if things would work out between her and a farmer. But she’s doing just that after winning the farmer’s heart while filming the CW TV show “Farmer Wants a Wife,” which recently concluded its series.
