The skies over the Twin Cities will be alight in patriotic celebration Saturday night as Texarkana, Ark., hosts the annual Sparks in the Park Independence Day celebration.

The event begins at 2 p.m. at the Four States Fairgrounds with several family activities, such as horseshoes, a climbing wall, petting zoo and Guitar Hero competition. Cool-down stations will be set up, with even more activities inside the agricultural learning center and the barnyard.

Concession vendors at the fairgrounds will offer various fair foods and the beer garden will be open. No pets or outs...
