For three decades, the Rev. and Mrs. Ulycess Forte have served Cedar Springs Baptist Church, and on Sunday their congregation will honor them with a special service.

The event begins at 3 p.m. and features the Rev. Paul Keener and Hickory Hill Baptist Church of Nash, Texas, as the guest speaker and church.

Forte’s 30-year ministry at the Hooks, Texas, church makes him the longest-serving pastor in the church’s 103-year history.
