A man was killed late Friday after being struck by several vehicles when he was crossing Interstate 30, an official said.

The accident occurred shortly after 9 p.m. in the eastbound lane of I-30 near the Texas Roadhouse Restaurant, a police spokesman said.

The man’s identity was not available at presstime.

Police say the man was attempting to cross the interstate from the north side to the south side and several vehicles hit him but several drivers did not stop afterwards.
