Man receives jail time, probation
A Texarkana man will serve six weekends in jail and 10 years probation for firing gun shots above the head of a man who dated the mother of his child.
Nicholas Tyrone Jackson, 29, was sentenced by Bowie County District Judge Leon F. Pesek, Jr. Monday afternoon. He was represented by Texarkana lawyer Mark Elliott. “In your employer’s words, you’ve turned a corner and are trying to do better,” Pesek said as Jackson stood before him. “You are to be commended for that but what bothers me is your behavior that day. What you did was extremely dangerous.” Featured Texarkana Business Directory Articles Featured Texarkana Business Directory Coupons |
