One of two brothers accused in the beating of an off duty Alcoholic Beverage Control Division officer at a local nightclub has entered a plea of not guilty before a Miller County Circuit Judge Kirk Johnson.

Brandon Wayne Attaway, 24, is the only one of the brothers who has been formally charged by prosecutors. He faces a single count of interference with a law enforcement officer. The offense carries a penalty range of three to 10 years in prison.

Johnson scheduled him to return to court next month.
