Titus County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public for help in locating a stolen John Deere 7220 4x4 tractor.

The tractor is valued at $40,000 and was stolen from Benchmark Industrial Services while at a job site inside the LUMINANT Energy Winfield South Mine located on Titus County Road 2550, according to a report.

The job site is located between Mount Vernon and Mount Pleasant about a mile south of Interstate 30.

The theft is believed to have occurred between June 29 and July 1.
