SCHOLARSHIPS

Elizabeth Bernabe, a recent graduate of Texas High School, received a $500 scholarship from the Texarkana, Texas, Republican Women’s Club.

She competed with other area graduates by writing an essay, “The Importance of Each Individual’s Participation in the Governmental Process.” She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesus Bernabe of Texarkana.
