The Texarkana Independent School District Board of Trustees named Donna Chatman as the Disrtict 4 representative Friday.

Board members said the decision was not an easy one.

“This was an extremely difficult decision that we as board of trustees had to make,” said Greg Pulido, TISD’s board vice president. “All three candidates were highly qualified and would have served the district well. We were thrilled that such great candidates were eager to serve TISD in this manner.”
