The filing deadline for Arkansas-side school board elections is just five days away for candidates interested in school board seats in Miller County.

The deadline is noon Friday.

In the Texarkana, Ark., School District, two three-year seats, Zone 6 and Zone 1, are up for election this year. They are currently held by Carol Dalby and Kyle Davis, respectively.
