A Texarkana, Texas, man was killed in a car-motorcycle accident about 7 p.m. Saturday near Loop 151 and U.S. Highway 59 South, officials said.

Cody Wathen, 60, lived off of Highway 59 and was heading home on his Honda motorcycle Saturday when the accident occurred, said Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Trevor Phillips who investigated.

Wathen was traveling south in the inside lane when he was struck by a car that entered his lane.
