A water quality workshop for logging crews, foresters and forest landowners will be from noon to 5 p.m. July 25 in Ashdown, Ark., at the Domtar paper mill learning center.

The workshop is sponsored by the Best Management Practices program of the Arkansas Forestry Commission and the Arkansas Timber Producers Association ARKPRO Logger program.

The workshop is free but preregistration is requested by calling 1-888-403-2232.

Those attending should bring boots and personal protective equipment for a field trip. A snack lunch and drinks will be provided.
