The most recently captured inmate who escaped from the Miller County jail last week appeared in court Monday afternoon.

Anthony Michael Brown, 30, appeared before Miller County District Judge Wren Autrey for his first judicial appearance on felony escape charges.

Brown was returned to the jail Saturday after a brief chase in a Wake Village, Texas, park.

He was being held in jail on two pending counts of failure to appear at previous court dates, one count of theft of property and one count of residential burglary.
