A 24-year-old Hope, Ark., man was killed Sunday about 3:25 a.m. after he was hit by a vehicle on Interstate 30.

Danny T. Armstrong was pronounced dead at the scene by Hempstead County Deputy Coroner Ben Brazzel, said Arkansas State Police Cpl. Keith Sullivan.

The accident occurred near the 24-mile marker.

Armstrong was driving a 1989 Chevrolet eastbound.

He drove off the highway into the median before coming to a stop back on the roadway, according to reports.
