Three people were seriously injured Monday while working at Red River Army Depot and had to be taken by ambulance to a local hospital, an official said.

The three workers, whose names were not released, were “responding to an electrical maintenance problem” in a production facility at the depot when they were injured about 9:30 a.m., according to a report from the depot.

They were taken by RRAD and LifeNet ambulances to a local hospital, according to the report.
