Seven-year-old Alan Hawthorne and Nicholas Adamson, 9, spent a portion of their Tuesday painting as part of the Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Council summer program “Color Texarkana,” which lets children create works of art showcasing local parks and landmarks. Once the pieces are finished, they will be hung on the ArtWall in the ArtSpark at 4th and Main streets.
