Award-winning singer, songwriter and musician David Patillo will be in concert at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Oaklawn Baptist Church.

Local performer Mike Hartman will open the concert.

Known for such songs as “The Middle Man,” recorded by LeAnn Rimes, and “Ten Thousand Angels Cried,” which was performed at the memorial for the 9/11 firefighters, Patillo has written more than 400 songs recorded by several artists.
