The Texarkana, Ark., School District will move alternative learning students off the campus of Washington 4-A Academy, placing them in several campuses throughout the district starting this fall. The board of directors heard the report during Tuesday’s meeting.

“Students choose to go to ALE. It is not punitive,” said Becky Kesler, TASD superintendent.
