Break-IN attempted at Miller County jai

Police say suspect had contraband

A Texarkana, Texas, man who allegedly tried to break into the Miller County jail earlier this week will have to post a $200,000 bail if he wants to get out.

Bobby Finley, 19, was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday by a Miller County deputy. The suspect was allegedly using bolt cutters to create an opening in the metal chain link fence around the perimeter of the jail, said Arkansas State Trooper Scott Clark, who is handling the investigation.

“What his plan was we’re not exactly sure, but he would’ve been inside pretty shortly,” Clark said.
