Local attorney Mark Lesher and his wife, Rhonda, have been indicted for a second time by a Red River County grand jury for aggravated sexual assault.

“These indictments rise out of the same set of facts as the old indictments,” said Red River District Attorney Val Varley.

The Leshers and Robert “Red” McCarver were indicted in April for sexual assault. A conviction for sexual assault carries a punishment range of two to 20 years in prison.
