A public meeting to garner the public’s input on the Historic Washington State Park story will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 1914 schoolhouse.

Arkansas State Parks will hear attendees’ opinions of the draft Park Interpretation Plan which has been in development for the past year.

“Interpretation means how we tell the story of Washington. It deals with the primary story to tell the public on our tours and how we combine the structures to support our stories,” said Jay Miller, Arkansas State Parks administrator of program services.
