A Texarkana, Ark., man who pleaded guilty to rape was sentenced last week to 10 years in prison by a Miller County Circuit Judge.

Grady Williams, 55, appeared before Circuit Judge Joe Griffin for sentencing Friday.

Williams pleaded guilty July 14, but sentencing was delayed until Friday to give Williams the opportunity to get his affairs in order before he begins serving his time on the rape conviction.

Griffin ordered Williams to pay $219.89 in restitution for the cost of a hospital examination undergone by the victim.
