Members of the military classified as prisoners of war or missing in action will be honored next month during two ceremonies.

The Texarkana Area Chapter #278 of the Vietnam Veterans of America Inc. will stage their 21st annual POW-MIA Vigil Aug. 29 and 30 at the Korea-Vietnam Memorial, at West Seventh Street and North State Line Avenue in downtown Texarkana.

The vigil will honor both those POWs and MIAs who have returned, as well as those still unaccounted for from all wars.
