Georgina Dean crossed an ocean to find a sea of knowledge all pertaining to healthcare.

Dean, an associate director of contracting and business development for a hospital in Birmingham, England, arrived in Texarkana Saturday as part of the Healthcare Financial Managers Association US/UK Exchange program.

Shawn Barnett, CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System vice-president and CFO, recently hosted his English counterpart to see how things run at St. Michael so both could learn the differences in health care delivery between two countries.
